Chicken Ala King Ramped Up
1 Ideal Protein Chicken Ala King packet
8 ounces No-Salt Chicken Broth (I use Swansons)
1 cup of vegetables (I used green onions, anaheim peppers & celery)
Salt & Pepper
Saute the vegetables in a pan sprayed with butter spray and then add 2 ounces of the chicken broth, cover for a few minutes cooking them until the vegetables are softened.
Remove the vegetables, add the remaining chicken broth and whisk in the Chicken Ala King packet until smooth. Return the vegetables to the pan with the Chicken mixture and heat slowly until heated through (DO NOT BOIL!).
Remove pan from heat and allow to sit covered for 3-4 minutes to allow the dehydrated vegetables to soften. Enjoy!
NOTES: 05/21/2012 I must admit I wrote this from memory and I have the feeling I left something out. Next time I make it, I will write down exactly what I use and edit this recipe if I need to 🙂
